Use this document to organize your essay. Successful completion of this assignment requires that you provide a rationale, include examples, and reference content from the studies in your responses.

Quantitative Studies

Introduction

1. Introduce your nursing practice problem and discuss the purpose of your paper.

2. State your PICOT question.

Background of Studies

1. Summary of studies including problem, significance to nursing, purpose, objective, and research question.

How Do These Two Articles Support the Nursing Practice Problem You Chose?

1. Discuss how these two articles will be used to answer your PICOT question.

2. Describe how the interventions and comparison groups in the articles compare to those identified in your PICOT question.

Method of Studies

1. State the methods of the two articles you are comparing and describe how they are different.

2. State one benefit and one limitation of each method you have identified.

Results of Studies

1. Summarize the key findings of each study in one or two comprehensive paragraphs.

2. What are the implications of the two studies in nursing practice?

Ethical Considerations

1. Discuss two ethical consideration in conducting research.

2. Describe how the researchers in the two articles you choose took these ethical considerations into account while performing their research.

Conclusion

1. Your conclusion should summarize the main points in the essay, including a varied restatement of the thesis.

Step 1: Consider what change you would like to initiate that will benefit the healthcare community.

Discuss how you plan to facilitate making contact with a nurse leader and post a draft change project that willl impact quality improvement as  a narrative for students and faculty to review.

To Prepare:

• Develop a PICO(T) question to address the clinical issue of interest you identified for the “search database Assignment” This PICOT question will remain the same for the entire course.
• Use the key words from the PICO(T) question you developed and search at least four different databases in the Walden University Library. Identify at least four relevant systematic reviews or other filtered high-level evidence, which includes meta-analyses, critically-appraised topics (evidence syntheses), critically-appraised individual articles (article synopses). The evidence will not necessarily address all the elements of your PICO(T) question, so select the most important concepts to search and find the best evidence available.
• Reflect on the process of creating a PICO(T) question and searching for peer-reviewed research.

Part 2: Advanced Levels of Clinical Inquiry and Systematic Reviews

Create a decorative 6- to 7-slide PowerPoint presentation in which you do the following:

• Identify and briefly describe your chosen clinical issue of interest.
• Describe how you developed a PICO(T) question focused on your chosen clinical issue of interest.
• Identify the four research databases that you used to conduct your search for the peer-reviewed articles you selected.
• Provide APA citations of the four relevant peer-reviewed articles at the systematic-reviews level related to your research question. If there are no systematic review level articles or meta-analysis on your topic, then use the highest level of evidence peer reviewed article.
• Describe the levels of evidence in each of the four peer-reviewed articles you selected, including an explanation of the strengths of using systematic reviews for clinical research. Be specific and provide examples.

 Qualitative data have been described as voluminous and sometimes overwhelming to the researcher. Discuss two strategies that would help a researcher manage and organize the data.
